By mid-morning, explore the charming city center with its stylish shopping districts, particularly the unique Modekwartier (Fashion Quarter) and the seven distinctive streets of 7straatjes. Recommendation – One of the highlights of visiting the Netherlands in spring is Keukenhof Gardens, world-famous for its spectacular tulip displays.

Please note that this visit is not included in our cruise itinerary. If you would like to experience Keukenhof, you’ll need to plan your visit before or after the cruise, as the park cannot be accessed by water. We recommend booking tickets and planning transportation early, as Keukenhof is one of the most popular spring attractions in the Netherlands and often sells out.

How to Purchase Tickets:

  1. Visit the official website: https://keukenhof.nl/en/
  2. Select your preferred date and time slot for entry.  (Mornings before 10:30 have fewer crowds)
  3. Choose your ticket type and complete your payment online.
  4. You’ll receive your e-tickets by email — please print or save them to your mobile device for entry.

How to Get There:

  • From Amsterdam: Take the Keukenhof Express Bus 852 from Amsterdam RAI Station. The journey takes about 35–40 minutes and drops you directly at the park entrance.
  • From Amsterdam/Schiphol Airport.  Take the train to the airport from Central Station in Amsterdam.  Head to the bus stop area (Schiphol Plaza/Hall 1) and board Bus 858 (The Keukenhof Express), which goes directly to Keukenhof with no stops. (Approximately 30 minutes. Departs 6 times/hour) Arrive at the park entrance.

Enjoy the gardens!  When you’re ready to return, you can take Bus 858 back to Schiphol Airport (or other transport back into Amsterdam) — the “combi ticket” allows return at any time.

Combination tickets (which include both bus transportation and park admission) are also available on the Keukenhof website under “Combi Tickets.” Available mid-December
